Together with our joint venture partner Danescroft, we acquired the 22,000 sq ft building in 2016. It presented a rare opportunity to acquire a well-located office investment with huge potential and optionality just metres from King Street in the heart of Hammersmith, and only a 6 minute walk to both Hammersmith Broadway Underground Station & Ravenscourt Park Underground station.
The project team secured consent for 53 studio, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom apartments under permitted development. The works were completed as two phases with each phase completed on time and within budget.
The apartments were fitted out with high specification kitchen units and appliances and built-in storage in the bedroom to maximise space. The result is to create relatively small apartments that give the impression of light and space.
